Часть текста: Петершуле, где преподавание велось на этом языке. Он знал и английский, хотя, по всей видимости, хуже. Им было сделано несколько переводов для детей, самый знаменитый - перевод книги немецкого писателя В. Буша "Plisch und Plum" или, точнее, ее переложение, опубликованное в 1936 году в журнале "Чиж" под названием "Плих и Плюх"[403]. Что же касается опытов перевода с английского, то в качестве примера можно привести неоконченный текст "Зачем ты блистаешь / летучая мышь…"[404] (стихотворение "Twinkle twinkle little bat…" из книги Л. Кэрролла "Алиса в стране чудес") и хранящийся в Отделе рукописей Российской национальной библиотеки (OP PH Б) достаточно неуклюжий прозаический отрывок 1931 года "Опасное приключение"[405]. Однако в данной статье мы обращаемся к "взрослым" переводам Хармса. Прежде всего факт существования среди рукописей поэта, хотя и небольшого, наброска перевода отрывка из книги Г. Мейринка "Der Golem" (книги, к которой Хармс возвращался на протяжении многих лет[406]) знаменателен сам по себе и служит доказательством того, что Хармс относился к занятию переводами не только как к одному из способов зарабатывания на жизнь. Более того, внимательное изучение автографов позволяет в настоящее время, во-первых, утверждать, что некоторые опубликованные как принадлежащие Хармсу тексты на русском языке являются, на самом деле, переводами или переложениями, и, во-вторых, оспаривать авторство написанных по-немецки рукою поэта причисленных к его творческому наследию стихотворений. Среди автографов Хармса в OP PH Б имеется значительное количество его рукописных текстов на немецком и английском языках.
