Часть текста: темой будничной. И действительно, только с появлением статьи З. Г. Минц «“Поэтика даты” и ранняя лирика Ал. Блока»[1] началось систематическое изучение даты в литературе именно как семиотического вопроса. Как указывает Минц, в лирических произведениях Блока авторские даты становятся самостоятельными знаками, обладающими как собственными тематическими и эстетическими функциями, так и мощным потенциалом связывания текстов. Кроме того, как и другие элементы текста, даты могут функционировать метонимически , активизируя в рамках одного произведения широкие литературные и экстра-литературные (т. е. исторические) области цитирования.[2] Названное свойство связывает вопрос дат с более широкой проблемой интертекстуальности и дает основание исследовать поэтику Набокова под этим углом. Суеверные приметы Плодотворная идея подобного исследования восходит к утверждению самого Набокова, сказавшего в интервью: “Меня, как и Пушкина, завораживают роковые даты” (SO, 75). В своем комментарии к “Евгению Онегину” Набоков касается попыток Пушкина предсказать дату собственной смерти, замечая, что “суеверность поэта была почти болезненной” (ЕО2, 128). Отсылка здесь — среди прочих возможных подтекстов — к стихотворению Пушкина 1829 года “Брожу ли я вдоль улиц шумных”[3], реминисценции которого часто возникают в прозе Набокова. И в собственных произведениях пытался овладеть теми невидимыми приемами, что придают неповторимое очарование рассказам и пьесам Чехова. В набоковской прозе действительно обнаруживаются явления, которые генетически обусловлены образами, повествовательными приемами и принципами поэтики Чехова. Чеховское «слово» было обозначено как в ранних рассказах, так и в поздних романах Набокова. Исследователи, особенно англоязычные, изучали присутствие Чехова в набоковской прозе 110 111 . Из последних работ по этой проблеме наиболее оригинальна книга Максима Шраера, она же, впрочем, заслуживает критического подхода. Ее автор, кроме сделанного обзора основных англоязычных публикаций по связям Набокова и Чехова, пытается утвердить и наличие сходства в метафизических темах двух писателей, и родственность открытых финалов, и многое другое с минимумом доказательств 111. Мы остановим свой взгляд на особенностях стиля Набокова, на тех аллюзиях и реминисценциях, через которые проявляются чеховские повествовательные приемы.
